George Clooney’s father hospitalized for possible exhaustion
D.C., Washington, United States (AHN Entertainment) – George Clooney’s father veteran journalist Nick Clooney has been hospitalized.
The 77-year-old Clooney is being treated in Washington, D.C. Wednesday after he fell it while preparing to host a “Reel Journalism” movie program at the Newseum, a museum dedicated to journalism around the world, reports The Cincinnati Enquirer.
“He had a bad headache. They thought it was a bad migrane. They’re just checking him out,” his daughter, Ada Zeidler, said Wed
The newspaper reported that doctors decided to keep him overnight for observation and believe he is suffering from exhaustion.
“They’re running tests to determine what it is, and when they determine what it is, his son George will make an announcement to the media,” said Judi LaFreniere, Montgomery Town Hall lecture series chairwoman. Nick Clooney was to speak Wednesday and Thursday in Cincinnati as part of that lecture series.
Clooney, author of “The Movies That Changed Us: Reflections on the Screen” and a former TV anchorman and newspaper columnist, has hosted the Newseum movie series for three years.
It is not clear yet when Clooney will be released from the hospital.
